STANDING ON THE PROMISES OF GOD
Standing and utilizing God's promises is only possible through FAITH. As the building block, your faith will catalyze the other ingredients and secure you with patience to wait for your turn. Praise God! As we go through some of the ingredients that brings the promises into manifestation, I will encourage every one of us to give it your best shot.
As a believer, the Word of God and your past experience is what you need to overcome your future obstacles. If you can learn from your past failures, obstacles and choices, you are deemed to make changes to bring you better things. As they say, 'A fool at 40 is a fool forever'
"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for me; because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children". (Hosea 4:6 NKJV)
To gain knowledge, there are three primary things you must do;
A). Study the word of God always
B). Apply what you studied, (learn through partnership with those that are successful by it) and...
C). Repeat the cycle (become a member of a Church, get your own Bible, share your testimony with others, etc.) Your appetite for the Word of God is the level of anointing you will receive, according to the measure of faith God has given to you.
Jesus put it this way; "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled". (Matthew 5:6 NKJV) This filling is not immediate; remember that you are under construction. Daily in the word of God adds a new experience to you, but surely increases you.
HEBREWS 11:6 "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him."(Hebrews 11:6 NKJV) Everyone has faith, but the saving faith is that on Christ: Lord and Savior, God the creator of all things, and the giver of all good things. When you ask without receiving, you might have to restructure your focus, but if Christ is your foundation, be patient for He will not be a second late. Amen.
Faith can only be developed by;
A). Hearing the gospel: Doing this will reveal, confirm, and empower you that your relationship with your heavenly father is not illegitimate, but legal, regardless your present condition and circumstances. God loves you, more than any other.
B). Obeying the gospel. This tests your loyalty. You might struggle with this since the word of God is Hot, Offensive and Powerful. Only a heart of Love, Humility and Appreciation can walk with Him.
C). Repeat the cycle. Here, you appreciate Grace that allows you the second chance. Do not master your weakness, master your strength and stay in it. God is faithful, and really understands everything your are going through.
Example: Like every high school laboratory experiment, you have to combine your compounds to obtain a result. A word of God not put in use is a print in black on white. It is only made alive when we put it to work. To be fortified with your victory against Satan and his demons, the Holy Bible should guide your daily paths.
As faith draws God's attention, obedience quickens His promises to manifestation. Knowing the truth and rejecting it is called rebellion. This is a blasphemy against he Holy Spirit that seals us.
"This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. *For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? +Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:8, 9 NKJV)
Be mindful that Satan and his demons a.k.a agents will test you faith and loyalty.
Here, Joshua is teaching us three things;
A). To speak the word of God constantly,
B). To think the word of God constantly
C). To obey the word of God constantly
Why do we have to do this? "For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success" (Joshua 1:8b)
Our Constant communion with God makes Him God, and the provider of our needs. A believer without a prayer pattern is powerless.
"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened." (Matthew 7:7, 8 NKJV)
There are three ways you can utilize this scripture: OBEY!
A). Ask your heart desires and all you need. Do not envy those that have.
B). Knock. Do not give up. Persist in asking as you wait for your turn.
C). Seek. Every one seeking must use wisdom.
Do not let everyone get involved in your affair. Ask God to "send you help from
His sanctuary" (Psalm 20:2) GO BACK TO ARCHIVES
