The Living Word Ministries was born for the purpose of spreading the Good news of our Lord Jesus Christ to all man. Know that Salvation is personal, and unless you are Born-Again, you are not saved.
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; 2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, 3 To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.” (Isaiah 61:1-3 NKJV)
It is the mission, vision and commission of this ministry to educate and empower community members to effectively utilize their God given talents (Entrepreneurial and Leadership skills etc) for the development of their families and community alike, thereby furthering the building of the Kingdom of God. In the area of education and career development, our focus is primarily on the youth and the adolescents in the community. We believe that education is the formidable foundation for a better future. To allow these youths to live life in illiteracy is not only ignorance, but profoundly ungodly. We are called to break and dismantle every barricade that prevent individuals from experiencing abundant life, for which Jesus Christ our Savior has paid so high a price.
In implementing the vision divinely given to us, we hope to minister to the youths against the apparent deluge of drug use, and violent tendencies in the community. Equally, we hope to redirect their lives to positive activities that will steer them in the direction that will catapult them to productive economic and socially fulfilling lives.
“He (Jesus) said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” (Mark 16:15-18 NIV)
